Today we traveled into the City on the Bay. We took a trolley ride through the streets just for the fun of it. I made sure I was in the front and standing on the side holding on. (Even though there were seats) I wanted the true experience. We then went to the most crooked street in America, down Lombard St. I have in on tape. It was one way, brick, and downhill left and right. We then walked on The Golden Gate Bridge. When we first saw it there were no clouds and then when we got closer you could not see the top. Alcatraz could be seen offshore from the bridge. This was a prison which closed many years ago. To top if off, we parked at Fisherman's Wharf on Pier 39. This is a "hot spot" that tourist go to to see street performers, a fish market, site seeing tours, boat dock, and seals. We had clam chowder and lunch at Alioto's Restaurant overlooking the bay and the bridge. We leave, as Birdie calls it "The Fruit and Nut" state in the morning heading for the biggest, little city in the US. (Reno) , Nevada.

Very nice pictures of San Fran. I know you really enjoyed it, traffic and all.
