We left Tally on Monday after enjoying a great time with the kids. We ended up in Vicksburg, on the Mississippi River. We took the scooters and toured the National Park which is wear a Civil War battle was held in 1863. The boat Cairro (Ironsided) sunk during the battle and was later found. It is now restored and on display. (Dad, was this the ship you were on?). We stayed at a campground at the Ameristar Casino. So far it is the best casino I have ever been to. I hit a Royal Flush......twice.....Birdie had to drag me out of there.
We headed to Shreveport , Louisiana on Wed. and are on our way to Dallas on Thursday. May 6. The weather is hot but nice. We are planning on being in Alaska on June 1st. Pictures will soon be coming.
